baby girl is almost one. Can't believe it.

catch up time

Well Dylan is 3 adn baby girl is 5months. Dylan is just about finished with the potty training thing and baby is getting bigger by the minute. She can roll over and loves to giggle at her brother. Dylan wants a power wheels jeep for christmas so we shall see. I keep telling him he has to ask Santa so who knows

On June 18th, We had Breelyn at 7:59 p.m via c section. I went to by ob apt early in the afternoon and found out my blood pressure was very elevated and was totally symptomatic of preclampsia so it was rush home grab my bag and go to the hospital for cute labs and off to the OR for delivery. I had to be on a magnisum sulfate drip for 24 hrs but am doing well. We got to go home on sunday afternoon. We just love her. Dylan is super cute with her too.

July 1st or bust and other family updates

Well sorry I haven't updated in a while. But IF Breelyn (yes we changed the spelling again) doesn't make her debut before the scheduled c-section is july 1st. I am so ready to be done with pregnancy and so is Travis. Dylan seems still pretty excited. I think my chalenge is going to be more of him wanting to help mommy than being jealous over her. Dylan is currently being potty trained and doing well. He has a potty chart he gets to put Cars (disney movie) stickers on everytime he goes. When the chart is filled up he gets to pick a toy or prize at Walmart or something. I am excited. Hopefully we will be totally done when the baby arrives. I have been having lots of braxton hicks contractions more frequently so maybe I won't go until july 1st. Maybe sooner. The ultrasound the other day proved that I shouldn't have to have a hysterectomy right after birth like they first thought so that is good. Travis is working out a the sports track on the weekends too. So that keeps him really busy. That about does it.

It's a girl

So in Feb 12th, we had an ultrasound and its a girl. We are going to name her Brelynn. We can't agree upon a middle name as of yet. So she may get one or maybe not. Dylan knew the baby was going to be a girl all along. It is funny how things like that work out.

Happy 2009

Well 2009 is here already. We had a pretty good new years. Dylan had a sleepover with Grandma B. and had a blast out at Aunt Joy's partying. Travis and I went to friends house for games. On New Years Day we had nice day home expect we did go to the gym. Well lots in store for us this year. The new babe in late june/early july. Dylan turning three. Hopefully potty training will be in store too. Wishful thinking I know.

only one

So on thrusday we had our first appt. It is offical we are not having twins. The baby is only one and is kicking like a storm and healthy. I am about a week further than I thought orginally. Due date is July 4th but do to having to have a c-section more than likely will deliver in late june.
So yeah. Dylan really did not know what to think of the ultrasound pictures on the screen. He liked hearing the heart beat. All morning long on thrusday dylan kept saying " we going to the baby doctor." It was really cute

yes we are going to have another baby sometime in late june. We are pretty excited and Dylan points to mommy's tummy and says baby ,but I am not sure he truly understands

So well we are trucking along this october. Not much going on. Dylan is going to be a cowboy for halloween so hopefully he will smile for his picture. I am going to be Anne Oakly (cowgirl).

Dylan can count to 10 now. I am so proud. You have to get him started but he will. I love how he does something new almost everyday now.

Mater cakes

I am trying my hand at learning to decorate cakes for Dylan's birthday soon. Anybody have good suggestions? I making a Mater cake or at least attempting to make one. I so hope it turns out

Dylan is a big boy

Well its been about a week since Dakota helped me take down Dylan's crib. He sleeps pretty good in his big boy bed but prefers mommy and daddy's bed for sure. Getting ready for his big 2nd birthday in two weeks. Cars is the theme. I think I will make a Mator cake more than Lightning McQueen just because it looks a little easier to do.
